Transport Operations ManagerDublin 12Lincoln are working with an environmental business to recruit a Transport Operations Manager to manage a division of their business. The position is responsible for managing personnel, resources, and performance to meet operational and strategic objectives.Working hours: 09am-6pmKey Responsibilities:Manage and lead driver and helper teams, including performance, engagement, and absence management.Oversee recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of transport staff to ensure high standards of safety and service.Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and manage PPE allocation.Monitor and report on accidents, ensuring thorough investigation and corrective action.Manage operational resources, including driver and helper staffing levels and vehicle requirements.Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing improvement initiatives where required.Coordinate outbound waste load operations efficiently and in compliance with regulations.Support departmental projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational performance.Prepare and manage the department's fiscal budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to support smooth onboarding, resolve service issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Collaborate with planning teams to ensure efficient routing and scheduling of transport services.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent understanding of transport operations and regulatory requirements.Ability to analyse performance data and implement improvements.Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.For more information, please contact Lee Doheny at Lincoln Recruitment.
