EMC Test Technician – Evening Shift (2pm–10pm)

This role is for an EMC Test Technician working in a state-of-the-art ISO*****-accredited laboratory.
The position involves executing EMC and Electrical Testing on next-generation automotive products and contributing to high-performance results in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Role Summary
The EMC Test Technician will execute Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrical Testing (ET) on automotive products, following detailed procedures to ensure accurate validation and high-quality reporting for international customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform EMC/ET testing to strict ISO***** protocols and international automotive standards.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced EMC test equipment and instrumentation.
Follow detailed test plans and work instructions to complete scheduled validation activities.
Accurately record and document test data and observations.
Assist in compiling customer-facing validation reports.
Communicate clearly with engineering teams on test status, issues, and recommendations.
Support troubleshooting and design improvements based on test results.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.
Work Schedule
Shift:
Fixed 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday.
Training:
Temporary adjustment to 9am–5pm may be required for initial training.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
Qualification or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar field.
Prior experience in an EMC test lab or electronics testing role is desirable.
Recent graduates with hands-on lab experience and strong technical interest are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Knowledge
Understanding of automotive systems including 12V power, inrush currents, and cold cranking amps (CCA).
Familiarity with EMC theory, RF testing, or electrical validation methods.
