Job Title: Construction Estimator
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This includes preparing and negotiating contracts, managing project budgets, and overseeing day-to-day commercial activities.
As a key member of the project team, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
1. Key Responsibilities:
o Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
o Manage project budgets, including forecasting and reporting on costs.
o Oversee day-to-day commercial activities, including procurement and inventory management.
o Work with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks.
o Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in construction.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including RIAI and Public Works Form of Contract.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Package:
€50K-€80K based on experience and qualifications.
