If youre the Electrical Foremanwere looking for youll be: A qualified electrician with experience of running electrical projects. Commercially savvy with a track record in project management of small to medium construction jobs. A responsible, respectful, reliable, hard-working team leader and team player. Capable of working with other trades on a project in parallel alongside your own team. Experience counts, but most of all youve got to have passion, responsibility and pride in what you do. Reporting into Senior Projects Electrical Manager the main functions of the role are : Manage day-to-day activities of electricians and apprentices on your site. Ensure all electrical installations and repairs are done correctly and safely. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Plan and schedule work to meet project deadlines and milestones. Allocate labor and materials efficiently. Coordinate with other trades (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) to avoid conflicts. Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Ensure work is done according to specifications and quality expectations. Correct any issues or deficiencies in the work. Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices. Promote safe work practices and ongoing skills development. Ensure all work is compliant with Safe Electric code. Enforce job site safety protocols (e.g., PPE, lockout/tagout procedures). Conduct safety meetings or toolbox talks. Report progress to project managers or general contractors. Communicate needs for tools, materials, or workforce. Maintain daily logs and job reports9 Manage electrical material inventory and tools.
