Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and review high-quality design documentation.

3. Client & Business Development
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
* Support business growth initiatives by assisting directors in achieving office objectives.
* Develop and implement regional marketing strategies to attract new clients and projects.
* Prepare fee proposals, manage contract negotiations, and ensure client satisfaction.
4. Quality & Safety Compliance
* Ensure all work adheres to ISO-certified Quality Management System standards.
* Promote and enforce Health & Safety best practices within the team.
5. Financial Oversight
* Oversee cost control on projects, ensuring financial efficiency.
* Manage project invoicing and fee negotiations to maintain profitability.

Requirements
1. Educational Background
A Level 8/9 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
2. Professional Credentials
Chartered status (MIStructE or equivalent) is preferred.
3. Experience
* A minimum of 6 years of postgraduate experience, preferably in a consultancy environment.
4. Technical & Managerial Skills
* Proven leadership and management abilities.
* Strong technical expertise in structural engineering.
* Excellent commercial awareness to manage project budgets effectively.
* Strong ability to produce technical reports and chair meetings confidently.
