Our client, a medical device company, is recruiting for an EHS Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a culture of EHS excellence and providing high-quality EHS technical knowledge to reinforce safety on-site.
Responsibilities:
* Promote employee awareness and training on environmental, health, and safety matters.
* Assist facility and engineering personnel on projects to improve processes and reduce health and safety risk.
* Develop and recommend safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Compile and maintain annual environmental reports and customer compliance reports.
* Investigate accidents and events, and recommend actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Conduct site-wide environmental, health, and safety audits.
* Develop and conduct employee training in environmental, health, and safety.
Requirements include 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry, along with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and/or Safety. Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements, including ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards, is essential. Proficiency in areas such as project management, problem solving, and critical thinking is also required.
