We are seeking an experienced
Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
on a day rate contract basis on behalf of a Dublin based client.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on challenging infrastructure and automation projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services
Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for production environments
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability
Ensure security best practices and compliance across all environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
5+ years
of hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using
Terraform
and/or
ARM templates
Experience with containerization technologies (
Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
)
JIRA
experience also required
Strong scripting skills in
PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
Experience with Git version control and branching strategies
Knowledge of networking, security, and governance in Azure
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Solutions Architect)
Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus)
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with multi-cloud environments
Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO *****, GDPR)
