Role Description
The opportunity has arisen for a full-time Warehouse Operative to work in Avoca Central Stores, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, working 40 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 basis.
Responsibilities
* Stock control through use of the EPOS system.
* Picking orders through use of our replenishment system.
* Packing and processing of orders.
* Working within a team to ensure dispatch is running efficiently.
* Processing orders from an end-to-end process.
* Goods inwards and Outwards.
* Loading and unloading of vans.
* Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager.
Requirements
* Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is a distinct advantage.
* Communicate effectively with team members.
* Experience working with wireless handhelds devices in a warehouse environment.
* Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca's high standard of service.
* Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes.
* Goods inwards & outwards experience.
* Meridian EPOS knowledge preferable.
