Deputy Hotel Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a Deputy Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel, with specific responsibility for the Bar and Club areas.
* Maintain the highest standards of customer care at all times
* Ensure excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards
* Attend weekly management meetings and follow up on any outstanding issues from week to week
* Oversee the Porter department, providing training when necessary to improve performance
* Manage the Accommodation department, conducting daily inspections of all rooms
* Ensure compliance with float management procedures and implement corrective actions when necessary
* Focus on daily room occupancy figures, VIP visits, groups, no-shows, Conference & Banqueting events, restaurant bookings, bar numbers, and financial data
* Conduct weekly room spot checks
* Implement any reasonable requests made by senior management
* Approve departmental rosters and maintain visibility on the floor during busy periods
* Oversee the planning and execution of all functions, particularly weddings and VIP events
* Support wedding show rounds and provide coverage for the Conference & Banqueting department as needed
* Address guest complaints or queries that cannot be resolved at the departmental level
* Respond efficiently and professionally in emergency situations
* Act as the hotel's Health & Safety Officer
The ideal candidate will possess at least three years' experience in a senior hotel operations role and have expertise across various hotel departments, particularly in the area of bar management.
