This position will support the oversight of fund risk activities across a range of UCITS structures, ensuring compliance with CP86 and other regulatory requirements.This is a hands‑on role suited to a detail‑oriented and analytical professional with a proactive mindset. The successful candidate will engage regularly with investment managers and key delegates, requiring a strong understanding of financial markets and fund structures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily UCITS and investment risk monitoring across all fundsConduct Value at Risk (VaR) monitoring and analysisManage and track investment breachesPerform liquidity monitoring and analysisParticipate in monthly and quarterly calls with investment managersPrepare and analyse periodic risk reportsConduct weekly OTC valuation and pricing checksSupport initial and ongoing due diligence on delegatesAssist with onboarding of new funds and businessManage annual regulatory filings, including FDI and Fund Profile returnsRequirements3–5 years’ experience in financial services, risk, or investment managementStrong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and methodologiesAdvanced Excel skills (including lookups and pivot tables)Strong written communication skills with experience producing reports and documentationUnderstanding of VaR modelsGood knowledge of financial marketsKnowledge of UCITS and Management Company operating models in IrelandExperience working with investment or fund managersExposure to data tools such as VBA, Power BI, Python, or SQLAttention to Detail – High level of accuracy and structured approach to dataAccountability – Takes ownership and delivers against deadlinesCollaboration – Works effectively with internal teams and external stakeholdersProblem‑Solving – Able to identify root causes and improve processesCommunication – Clear and professional in both written and verbal interactionsLearning Agility – Adaptable and keen to develop within a growing organisation
