Permanent whole Time Post Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Personal Assistant to the Head of College within the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences Office. This is an exciting role in the dynamic and busy College office. Reporting to the Head of College or nominee, the Personal Assistant will provide the Head of College with a comprehensive and professional administrative support service. They will have exceptional networking and relationship management skills to ensure the smooth running of the office of the Head of College. The postholder will liaise with colleagues at all levels within the College and UCC and with senior managers across the higher education sector, government departments, funding bodies, business and representatives on a local, national and international level In this role, in addition to managing the Head of College's diary arrangements, the postholder will have access to and manage the dissemination of highly confidential documentation and will co-ordinate the drafting, preparation and organisation of information and reports for internal and external meetings, ensuring that the Head of College has all necessary information as and when required. The postholder will work closely with the College Manager and other members of the College Office Team. Appointment may be made on the Admin V Salary Scale: €51,307 - €62,926 (Scale B) / €49,070 - €59,893 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
