Job Role and Responsibilities
1. In the absence of a senior manager, will take on interim leadership duties in accordance with Health Act 2007, relevant regulations, and HIQA standards.
2. The role involves working closely with other senior team members to ensure seamless delivery of key services including housekeeping, food safety, quality control, maintenance management, and administrative efficiency.
3. The postholder is expected to be an integral part of the home's clinical management team working collaboratively with the Director Of Nursing (DON) while also providing direct care to residents. The individual must have excellent communication skills for liaising with residents' families or representatives as well as managing staff performance and developing policies/procedures. Training provision is also a key aspect of this position.
