You will work closely with the project team, gaining hands-on experience in cost control, procurement, and commercial management of complex infrastructure projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in the commercial aspects of construction within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete day-to-day commercial and cost management activities.Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.Conduct measurement, valuations, and preparation of interim payment applications.Manage subcontractor packages, including procurement, valuations, and variations.Support the review of subcontractor and supplier invoices.Maintain accurate cost records and contribute to project reporting.Assist in managing change control and tracking variations.Promote and adhere to company health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.Gain exposure to commercial best practices, contract administration, and ISO standards within civil and renewable energy projects.RequirementsA recent graduate (1-5 years) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.A strong interest in the commercial side of civil engineering and renewable energy infrastructure projects.Good numerical, communication, and organisational skills.A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.Solid understanding of construction drawings and measurement.Ability to work collaboratively within a project team.Flexibility to travel to and work from project sites as required.This is more than just a junior role - it's the beginning of a clear career path in quantity surveying.
