Day Care @ Home Care Worker - Southwest Dublin South West Dublin Day Care @ Home service currently has a number of part time positions available. Part time roles to suit those looking for flexible working conditions. Hours are available on different days of the week. All contracts on a permanent contract basis. No weekend or shift work. We have clients needing service around Lucan & Clondalkin areas. The ASI is currently recruiting for a Care Worker who will work in our Alzheimer Society of Ireland, South Dublin Day Care @ Home Service. The office is based in The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Eastern Centre of Operations, 1st Floor, 7A The Village Centre, Lucan, Co. Dublin, K78E2D3. The successful candidate will work in our assigned family homes in South West Dublin and surrounding area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia in the client's own home. You will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative. To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activates with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. A full clean driving license is not essential but would be an advantage. A FETAC level 5 is desirable. Confidence in using IT/Email is also desirable. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience. The role holder must strictly adhere to all National Guidelines laid out in QSPD guidance and be always COVID aware. Training in PPE / Infection Control and other relevant areas will be provided by The ASI prior to the role holder entering a client's home.
