Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading PLC based in Dublin City seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to join their finance leadership team.
This role will manage the overall accounting activities with a key focus on reporting, forecasting, financial control and stakeholder management.
You will lead a team of qualified and part qualified accountants.
This role will suit a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE relevant work experience in a PLC, multinational or SSC environment.
You will have at least 3 years experience in a finance management position.
Big 4 or Top 10 trained prior to moving into industry is advantageous.
The Role Lead month-end reporting, forecasting and preparation of management packs for the Finance Director.
Ensure accurate, transparent financial results and compliance with GAAP, regulatory reporting and audits.
Manage and develop a team of accountants, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance and retention.
Implement and validate internal controls to identify and mitigate risks.
Partner with divisional and operational teams to drive cost transparency, efficiency and automation.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and support new system implementations, ensuring accounting processes are embedded.
The Candidate Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 5+ yearsrelevant work experience in a PLC or multinational environment.
Minimum 3 years experience in a finance management position leading qualified and part qualified accountants.
Practice trained (Big 4/Top 10) before moving into industry advantageous.
Highly developed stakeholder management, influencing & negotiating skills.
Knowledge of SAP advantageous.
