Our client, a luxury hotel in Co. Kerry, is looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Commis Chef to join their culinary team. This is an ideal role for someone at the early stages of their chef career who is passionate about food and ready to grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior chefs in food preparation and basic cooking tasks
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across your work area in line with HACCP standards
* Follow recipes and instructions carefully to ensure consistency
* Help with receiving and storing deliveries
* Learn and apply techniques as directed by senior team members
Requirements:
* Basic culinary qualification or relevant kitchen training
* Previous experience in a professional kitchen is an advantage but not essential
* Strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
