Deskside Support Engineer – Short Term Cover
Place of work: On-site – Ireland – Multiple Sites / Duration: Permanent / Hours of work: Monday to Friday – Office Hours / A valid driver's license and access to private transportation are required.

Within this Deskside Engineer Short Term Cover role, you will be working across multiple client sites in Ireland, providing cover for team members while on leave as well as acting as an additional resource when projects dictate. You will gain great exposure to client sites and multiple technologies and environments. The role is heavily customer focused and main responsibilities would involve on-the-spot troubleshooting.
Position Responsibilities:
* Request Fulfilment - following the clients IMACD process & SLA’s – Standard IMACD’s/Enhanced IMACD’s/Hardware and Software deployments.
* Incident Resolution – managing incidents following the client's process & SLAs.
* Service Now or other ITSM systems – Manage and update ticket queues.
* Asset Tracking - responsibility for asset tracking and reporting of all existing and new ICT equipment.
* Ensuring handover and updates of tasks to relevant persons and Team members.
* Reproducing, diagnosing, and analysing problems reported by end-users, in turn formulating solutions to resolve the issue at hand.
* Providing training and advice to users, both in response to identified difficulties and to share tips for optimal computer operation.
Technical Competencies:

* MS Active Directory.
* Experience in IT related services with understanding of networks and servers.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Familiarity with ITSM ticketing tools, ITIL process, Asset Management and Escalation Management.
