Pay Rate Starting at: $15.50/hr. Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
1. Front End: The final point of contact with customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression on customers.
2. Bakery: Slice, price, package, and display baked goods. Ensure products are stocked, rotated, and stored properly.
3. Pharmacy: Assist in providing health-related services. Retrieve medications, label containers, enter customer data, keep accurate records, and maintain security of controlled substances.
4. Deli/Carryout Cafe: Fulfill customer requests for deli and prepared foods, slice meats/cheeses, and ensure proper storage and display.
5. General Merchandise: Stock shelves, create and maintain displays, organize backroom, including first aid items, non-food items, and seasonal products.
6. Grocery: Stock shelves, create displays, and organize backroom.
7. Meat: Stock, store, rotate, and prepare meat products. Certified meat cutters or apprentices ensure quality cuts and proper processing.
8. Produce: Stock, store, water, and prepare produce. Fulfill customer orders for fruit or vegetable platters.
9. Seafood: Stock, store, and display seafood. Assist customers with seafood questions and requests.
Minimum Qualifications
