Working as part of the Finance Solutions ERP team, you will be reporting to the Global Technology Solution (GTS) ERP Technical Lead and will be required to support the JD Edwards System (ERP) across all the business areas in An Post. As part of ongoing transformation there will be engagement within the GTS and business teams to help deliver business changing needs by agreeing and developing necessary changes. Key Responsibilities The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Working with Business Support Team to ensure that any issues are being investigated and resolved in a timely fashion. Key involvement in the resolution of high severity user issues and system defects. Ensure an understanding of user and system requirement specifications with view to developing said changes. Perform initial/internal developer unit testing followed by a comprehensive system test, prior to releasing the changes to the testing teams. Ability to read, debug and modify existing report and program code to meet requirements. Help coordinate all work priorities, log and maintain issues and new development requests. Help with any new integrations and improvements to existing, specifically in the use of API calls and related functionality. Collaborate and build relationships with An Post internal and external development partners. Provide oversight to development partners to ensure consistent coding standards are maintained and documented. Work closely with the GTS ERP Technical Lead to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to defined scope. Assist in training programs, developing materials, and actively participating in both classroom and remote training sessions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of organisational processes and practices. Qualifications You will have a relevant third level degree in a business or related field with 3+ years of experience as a JD Edward Developer. Technically astute in the following functionalities: JDE Functional and Development: FDA, RDA, Business Function (C++), Create E1Pages, Café one frameworks, Form Extensions, Watchlists and Alerts. Integrations Experience. JDE Orchestrator: Orchestrations, Service Requests, Rules, Logic extensions, APIs and their practical implementation in integrations with external systems. Nice to have: Java/Oracle JDeveloper, JIRA, Service Now, ReportsNow Experience. Development and program coding, debugging programs and BSFN s, report writing. Understand different implementation methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, Prince. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines across multiple projects - detail orientated.
