Warehouse Operations Manager: (Warehouse and Transport) Osborne are delighted to be recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager for our client in Cork. The position requires a leader with strong people and organizational skills, a proactive approach and a focus on continuous improvement. The warehouse operations manager will be responsible for managing all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery to the customer. The successful candidate will need to have a strong people management record and be motivated to drive change successfully within a well-established but developing organization. Salary:60 to 70K DOE Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Plan, organise, manage and participate in the day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking and dispatch. Ensure inventory levels accuracy and availability and minimize discrepancies. Manage all returns from customers to suppliers Manage transport fleet Fleet performance, Records, driver and driver performance. Forward plan to receive and store all stock and customer orders. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Analyze operational date to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to increase efficiency. People Management: Provide strong leadership and clear direction to all team members. Recruit, train, manage, evaluate and develop all warehouse employees. Manage relationships with other relevant departments, branches and stakeholders. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in management role with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing both warehouse operations and transport teams. Strong knowledge of transport regulations, fleet management and compliance standards. Strong IT systems knowledge in ERP and Microsoft systems. Third level degree in Supply Chain and logistics an advantage. Full driving licence C level desirable. Health & Safety qualifications an advantage.
