Marketing Executive

Location: Dublin South (Hybrid)
Salary: €30,000-€35,000 DOE
The Role
Reporting into the Marketing & Communications Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the wider marketing and academic teams to support social media activity, content creation, and the planning and execution of online and in-person events. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing creative output with operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
* Support the planning, creation, and publishing of engaging content across multiple social media platforms (including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, and Threads).
* Maintain and update the content calendar in line with marketing campaigns and institutional events.
* Monitor and manage social media channels daily, responding to queries and fostering online engagement.
* Track performance metrics and prepare reports with insights and recommendations to improve reach and engagement.
* Conduct competitor and creative analysis, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
* Test emerging platforms, tools, and content formats, reporting on performance.
* Support the management of online reviews and reputation.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including academic teams, students, alumni, and sales teams, to source authentic content.
Events
* Plan, promote, and deliver a wide range of online and in-person events, including open days, webinars, orientations, graduations, conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
* Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venues, catering, AV, suppliers, promotional materials, and digital advertising.
* Liaise with guest speakers, partners, and sponsors to ensure professional execution.
* Work with the marketing team to drive attendance through integrated campaigns and social media promotion.
* Provide on-the-ground support at events nationwide.
* Gather and analyse feedback to support continuous improvement.
* Build strong relationships with students, alumni, and academic stakeholders to enhance engagement.
Print & Marketing Support
* Coordinate ad hoc print and marketing collateral requests (brochures, flyers, signage, orientation materials, etc.).
* Ensure brand consistency across all print and digital outputs.
* Liaise with external suppliers to manage quality, timelines, and budgets.
* Source and manage student testimonials for marketing use.
What we're looking for:
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* 1–3 years' experience in social media management and/or event coordination.
* Strong copywriting, content creation, and storytelling skills.
* Experience using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout, Meta Business Suite).
* Experience with Canva and basic video editing tools is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
* Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends to support events.
