Overview
The role is for a Cleaning Manager to manage the cleaning team in the day to day delivery of industrial cleaning services across three Sligo businesses: The Bakery, Commercial Kitchen & Dock 84 restaurant. Only applicants with 23 years' experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role will be considered. As the Cleaning Manager, you'll play a key role in upholding our commitment to producing a high standard product and providing a welcoming and sanitary environment for our staff. You will lead the existing cleaning team and also have your own cleaning tasks to complete. The shift pattern will typically be Tuesday to Saturday with flexibility in working hours; typical patterns may include 3pm – 11:30pm on weekdays and 10/11am start on weekends until 9:30/6pm at weekends.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the cleaning team to ensure all tasks are completed to high standards while also performing personal cleaning duties.
* Regularly inspect all areas of the bakery, including production areas, dining areas, restrooms, and storage spaces, to ensure cleanliness and compliance with HACCP and health and safety regulations.
* Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels; coordinate with the Bakery Manager to order supplies as needed.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP requirements and all health and safety regulations. Train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
* Escalate incidents or areas of concern to the Health & Safety Manager.
* Comply with the Company accident reporting procedure and assist promptly and accurately in the completion of Incident Reports. Report any issues to the H&S Manager.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience of working in an FMCG environment of a small to medium business or restaurant/hotel is preferred.
* Leading a cleaning team with at least 2 years of experience.
* Up to date knowledge of HACCP.
