This is not a traditional sales role - it's about providing expert solutions, working closely with architects, consulting engineers, lighting designers, and end-users to create tailored lighting solutions that enhance workplaces, healthcare facilities, and educational environments. The Role: Drive new business opportunities, identifying and developing relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry. Work closely with engineers and consultants to specify and recommend lighting solutions based on project requirements. Provide expert advice on lighting technology, sustainability, control systems, and Human-Centric Lighting. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present tailored lighting plans. Manage relationships with installation companies, ensuring smooth project execution. Engage in both outbound sales activity and handling inbound leads from consulting engineers. What We're Looking For: 2+ years' experience specifically in the lighting industry - knowledge of light output and lighting technology is essential. Existing contacts within the construction or lighting sector. A consultative approach to sales - this role is about solution selling, not cold calling. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Digitally proficient - experience with Office 365 and Salesforce is beneficial. CAD competency would be advantageous. Based in Ireland, with the ability to travel across the regions. What's on Offer?
