Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team for a fixed term period of 12 months. This role will play a crucial part in managing the French entities and contributing to group-wide financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Ensure timely and accurate close of monthly management accounts, prepare month-end reporting packs for consolidation, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial transactions.
* Reporting & Compliance: Take responsibility for all financial reporting aspects, including balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, and regulatory compliance.
* Procedure Development: Prepare and develop best-in-class accounting procedures and collaborate with regional accountants to roll out accounting procedures used in other regions.
* Budgetary Analysis: Conduct monthly budget versus actual review to ensure appropriate results are recorded.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the regional representative for dealings with auditors, lawyers, advisors, and business development partners.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement key areas for improvement in the Group's processes and reporting.
Requirements:
* Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Practice trained with 1 year plus industry experience preferred.
* Driven, adaptable, and internationally-minded individual.
* Experience of Netsuite is an advantage.
* Fluency in English is essential (both written and oral).
* Fluency in French (written and oral) is a significant advantage due to the focus on French entities.
* Very good command of MS Office, with proven strong Excel and Word skills.
* Strong time management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload and multitask.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a strong team.
* Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable managing competing priorities and developing with a growing Group.
