About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The role involves managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, collaborating with internal departments, reviewing vendor contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
The position reports to the Financial Director and will primarily focus on packaging items and indirect expenditure.
Responsibilities
1. Bid and negotiate purchases across multiple categories including packaging, utilities, subscriptions, and supplies.
2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors, providing solutions and support.
3. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and service, ensuring legal and policy compliance.
4. Process requisitions and purchase orders accurately and timely.
5. Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and relationship enhancement.
6. Assist in sourcing and onboarding new vendors, adhering to policies.
7. Extract and analyze data to identify cost savings, efficiencies, and risks.
8. Monitor and mitigate procurement risks.
Qualifications
1. Third-level degree in a business-related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in indirect procurement.

1. Experience sourcing and procuring consumables and direct categories of spend.
2. Driven, innovative, results-oriented with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems.
4. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
5. Active listening and engagement skills to uncover information and solutions.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and ability to build relationships at all levels.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and structured working approach.
8. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment with a high sense of urgency.
