Job Title:Alarm Installation Manager Location: Manguard Plus HQ Department: Security Systems / Technical Services Reports To: Technical Director Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: Negotiable (depending on experience) Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV / Alarm Installation Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of security system installations across multiple sites in Ireland. This role involves managing a team of technicians, liaising with clients, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, and integrated security solutions in compliance with Irish standards and licensing requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the installation of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, intercoms, and related security systems. Supervise and support installation technicians across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and provide accurate installation plans and timelines. Planning / Scheduling of works Ensure all installations meet the PSA (Private Security Authority) standards and other applicable Irish regulations. Liaise directly with clients to assess needs, provide updates, and resolve issues. Management & assessment of subcontractors quality of work & their ability to maintain scope program Take a proactive role in the pre-sales and pre-bid process Manage stock, tools, equipment, and scheduling to meet project deadlines. Ensure documentation, certifications, and handover materials are completed accurately. Provide technical guidance and training to team members Promote and ensure compliance with Health and Safety Authority (HSA) regulations. Support the project management, control cost & variations with regular reporting of cost projections provide regular status updates to the technical director Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Valid PSA Licence (Installer and/or Contractor). Strong knowledge of security system products from brands such as Hikvision, Honeywell, Paxton, and Dahua. Familiarity with relevant Irish standards Full, clean Irish/European driving licence. Excellent communication, planning, and troubleshooting skills. Desirable Skills: Understanding of networking/IP systems and cloud-based security platforms. Knowledge of GDPR compliance as it relates to CCTV systems. Health & safety qualifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling, etc.). Project management experience and budgeting skills.
