Job Title: EHS Professional
This role is focused on developing and enforcing environmental health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive environmental health and safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs.
* Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Provide training and guidance on safety procedures to all staff members.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive and corrective actions.
* Collaborate with management to develop and execute risk management strategies.
* Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A third-level qualification in health and safety or a related field is required.
* At least 2 years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing setting is essential.
* Comprehensive knowledge of EHS legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Ability to promote continuous improvement and work collaboratively within a team.
* Strong verbal, written, communication, and IT skills.
