Job Description
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Arrive at work on time and in full uniform.
2. Adhere to all HACCP regulations regarding uniform, personal hygiene, food preparation, production, service, and storage.
3. Carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labeling/dating, and storage.
4. Work with the head chef in menu planning, implementing stock controls, and managing stock to meet gross profit targets.
5. Ensure all mise en place is freshly prepared and ready on time.
6. Prepare dishes according to correct recipes and standards.
7. Maintain optimal conditions for all stocks.
8. Minimize wastage.
9. Serve dishes with correct garnish and portion size.
10. Clean down the kitchen after service and store remaining food according to hygiene regulations.
11. Keep your section clean and tidy at all times.
