The purpose of this job is to serve as a laboratory support analyst within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities include:
* Printing and providing labels for manufacturing.
* Coordinating pipettes within the central lab.
* Retrieving samples from the warehouse.
* Logging samples and managing SAP.
* Reviewing freezer logs.
* Performing preventative maintenance.
* Liaising with Maintenance for calibrations and sample movement.
* Updating Job Cards.
* Notifying alarm responders during JSC freezer activities.
* Following up on alarms and requesting QBAS trends.
* Managing sample shipping and ensuring audit readiness.
* Training JSC personnel on freezer use and management.
* Aliquoting samples, labeling vials, and placing them in designated freezers.
* Monitoring alarms on QBAS and managing samples internally and externally.
* Completing SAP Work orders.
* Responding to ad-hoc sample requests.
* Managing documentation related to samples, including external results entry into LIMS.
* Managing reference material inventory.
* Generating environmental and water analysis reports.
* Maintaining documentation and systems in collaboration with client personnel and suppliers.
* Generating quality and business metrics.
* Assisting laboratory personnel as needed.
* Keeping training records current and initiating training when possible.
* Adhering to safety, housekeeping, and quality standards, reporting discrepancies.
* Ensuring timely, accurate, and legible documentation.
* Providing cover for team members as needed.
* Meeting or exceeding client requirements, being flexible across business areas.
* Identifying and communicating areas for process improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications include:
* A third-level qualification in a scientific discipline.
* At least 1 year of GMP experience in a laboratory environment.
* Good team player with strong communication skills.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and good organization skills.
