About You
You’re an experienced Civil Engineer with a Level 8 or 9 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an Irish engineering consultancy. You have a passion for high-quality design, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy taking ownership of your work. You take pride in acting with integrity – consistently delivering honest, transparent, and responsible work.
Your experience includes:
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (experience with Revit is an advantage).
* Proven involvement in the delivery of infrastructure, drainage and/or roadwork projects.
* Experience working with Irish Water would offer a distinct advantage.
* The ability to produce accurate, detailed technical work to tight deadlines.
* A collaborative approach, with experience working across multi-disciplinary teams.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to work to project deadlines
You’re proactive, organised, and commercially aware – with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients, local authorities and project teams alike.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in the delivery of diverse and impactful civil engineering projects. Working closely with senior engineers and other professionals, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the planning, design and execution of engineering projects.
* Producing technical reports, calculations and drawings in line with current standards and regulations.
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and best practice guidelines.
* Liaising directly with clients and local authorities, representing the practice with professionalism and technical clarity.
* Helping to drive the successful delivery of projects – on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
