Senior Nursing Leadership Position
The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of nursing practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing comprehensive nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Providing guidance and support to the nursing team, facilitating their achievement of performance goals.
* Maintaining resident care outcomes and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
* Effectively managing staffing levels to secure adequate coverage while minimizing operational costs.
* Supervising training initiatives for new nurses and promoting continuous professional development for existing staff.
* Collaborating with the finance department to ensure timely submission of financial information.
* Fostering collaboration between departments to facilitate effective interdisciplinary care.
* Ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements pertinent to the nursing home setting.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
* Qualification in Management
* Active NMBI Registration
* Minimum 3 years of experience within last 5 years in a leadership role in a Nursing home setting
* Strong understanding of nursing practices, HIQA regulations, and industry trends
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience managing budgets and resources
* Excellent Leadership qualities
