This role is responsible for developing and executing monitoring strategies, managing observability platforms, and overseeing the integration of tools that support infrastructure reliability, performance, and automation.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of systems engineers focused on monitoring, observability, and tooling.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Define and implement enterprise-wide monitoring strategies for infrastructure, applications, and services.Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Grafana Cloud, PagerDuty, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, JasperReports, IgNio, and more.Oversee the design and integration of engineering tools that support CI/CD, automation, and system diagnostics.Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of monitoring and diagnostic tools.Drive automation initiatives to improve system reliability and reduce manual intervention.Establish KPIs and SLAs for monitoring systems and ensure compliance.Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new tools and technologies.Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development for team members.Implement quality control and performance metrices for monitoring systems.Identify risk in system designs and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure high availability and performance of monitoring platforms.Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on system health and performance trends.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent).5+ years of experience in systems engineering, architecture and/or Infrastructure experience2+ years in a leadership role.Technical ExpertiseStrong background in systems engineering, infrastructure monitoring, and automation tools.Leadership & CommunicationProven experience managing technical teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.Strategic ThinkingAbility to align monitoring and tooling initiatives with organizational goals.Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.Work Environment:Standard work environmentMajority of time spent on PCTravel required, maybe domestic or internationalWeekend and off-hour support may be required Benefits: In return for your expertise, we offer growth, opportunity, and a competitive compensation and benefits package in a casual work environment.Are you ready to help us transform the world of electronic payments?
