Role Profile
Business Excellence and Continuous Improvement are at the heart of Tirlns success.
This role will report to the Tirln Business Excellence Manager, where you will work as part of a highly motivated and experienced Business Excellence team as well as site-based stakeholders to bring continuous improvement to life each day.
Responsibilities
* Providing support in the area of operational excellence and continuously improving the LEAN maturity of the site you will support
* Contributing to the development of strategy focused on embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Tirln business
* Ensuring that the site daily management system (3M), KPI reviews and continuous improvement forums are embedded at all levels of the site
* Lead the RCA process and ensure its effectiveness in the elimination of waste in the site processes
* Cooking and mentoring of employees at all levels in the use of LEAN systems & tools
* Facilitating the development, implementation & governance of business process improvement projects
* Recognising the importance of budget targets, constantly strive to reduce costs and improve efficiencies through a detailed knowledge of the process and a continuous goal of eliminating waste
* Communicating and engaging with people at all levels within the business in order to promote awareness and engagement
* Ensuring that the Business Excellence approach remains fully integrated into the business strategy
* Facilitating structured problem solving as well as training & mentoring site leadership team to embed root cause analysis in all areas
Requirements
* Third level qualification or relevant experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement,Project Management
* Lean Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt certified is a distinct advantage
* Must have experience in a lean environment in a manufacturing organisation -hands on experience utilizing lean tools in an effective manner
* Knowledge of the Shingo mode, experience in change management and/or Project Management are an advantage
