Job Description Food Preparation – Daily preparation, presentation operations of the Deli Counter Customer Service- Ensuring consistent high levels of customer service at all times Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas.
Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers Qualifications Past experience working in a deli is preferred but not essential Fluent in the English Language, both written and spoken Excellent customer service skills Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be available to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends Additional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that's an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
