Avoid Production Downtime with a Skilled Moulding Engineer
This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement process improvements with minimal impact on production.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in injection moulding and automation, as well as a degree in engineering.
* Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is essential.
* Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills are required.
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering (polymer/mechanical/electronic) is necessary.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work in alignment with technicians responsible for site injection moulding maintenance. They will identify and eliminate repetitious machine failures and provide consultative support to Manufacturing and Maintenance groups.
They will also utilise Lean Six Sigma tools and data to drive continuous improvement, develop and implement Safety and Quality improvements and prepare design specifications and associated documentation for equipment and system upgrades.
Key Requirements:
The following qualifications are essential:
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering (polymer/mechanical/electronic).
* Ideally 3-5 years' experience in a technical role in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
