Graphic Designer – Full-time – Cork City (On-site)
Celebrating 35 years in business, Hopkins is a Cork-based, independent, fully integrated marketing communications agency.
We specialise in marketing, advertising, graphic design and print, digital and social media, web design and development, PR, promotions and events.
We work with clients across a wide range of sectors on a regional, national and international level.
We are now seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.
Responsibilities:
Create design work for print, digital, social and web assets.
Work on projects from concept to completion with Account Managers and the wider team.
Manage multiple design projects at once.
Develop new designs and update existing artwork files.
Prepare and package artwork for print and digital output.
Follow brand guidelines and ensure design consistency.
Liaise with Account Managers and clients to understand briefs and deliver high-quality work.
Maintain organised file management.
Log time accurately and meet deadlines and budgets.
Requirements:
Third-level qualification in Graphic Design
Minimum 3 years' professional experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with digital design, social assets
Excellent layout, typography and attention to detail
Experience with video creation an advantage but not essential.
Familiarity with Canva and SharePoint
AI creative tools and After Effects are a bonus
Experience with web design and development is a bonus
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
