PermanentWestmeathOverviewA well‑established automotive manufacturing business in the Midlands is expanding its maintenance team and is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians at Technician and Senior Technician level.These roles sit within a modern, high‑volume manufacturing environment and offer long‑term stability, strong technical exposure, and genuine development opportunities.ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment and plant machineryDiagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime and support production targetsWork collaboratively with production to ensure equipment is optimally set up and ready for useLog maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage on the CMMS systemSupport equipment improvements, modifications, and continuous improvement initiativesAdhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all timesWork to a high standard within a structured 6S environmentProviding hands‑on technical leadership and mentoring to technicians and apprenticesSupporting maintenance planning and root cause analysis of recurring issuesAssisting with equipment commissioning, projects, and process improvementsActing as a key technical point of contact during breakdowns and escalationsCriteriaTrade‑qualified or Level 6 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Technology, or related disciplineExperience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude with exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics and general fault‑findingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationRewardCompetitive salary depending on experience and level (€42K - €55K)Overtime and shift premiums (where applicable)Pension and additional benefitsStrong training and upskilling supportLong‑term career progression within a stable automotive manufacturer
