Healthcare Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals in various care settings.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* A valid QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
* A full clean driving licence and access to their own vehicle (essential)
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Healthcare Assistant in Ireland
Candidates must also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a compassionate and professional approach to care.
Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities, supporting nurses and multidisciplinary teams, and promoting dignity, comfort, and independence for service users.
