Orange Recruitment are working with a leading organisation seeking a Health & Safety Manager to take charge at a cutting-edge Energy Recovery Facility in Dublin. This is more than a compliance role-it's an opportunity to drive real change, influence senior decision-making, and set the benchmark for safety excellence in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Responsibilities: Taking ownership of all Health & Safety performance onsite, working closely with operations and maintenance teams to foster a strong safety culture. Acting as the primary liaison with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA), ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and incidents are reported effectively. Leading regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments-identifying risks and ensuring proactive, corrective action is taken. Designing and delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and internal campaigns that create lasting behavioural change. Overseeing all relevant documentation-from SOPs and RAMS to training logs and legal compliance records. Investigating incidents and near-misses, conducting thorough root cause analysis, and implementing clear, timely resolutions. Managing emergency response plans and fire safety procedures to ensure the site is fully prepared for critical events. Collaborating with senior leadership on long-term safety strategies and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: A qualification in Health & Safety, engineering, or a technical discipline-or equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial setting. At least 5 years' experience in a senior Health & Safety position within energy, utilities, manufacturing, or similar sectors. Deep understanding of Irish H&S laws and standards, particularly: Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 General Application Regulations 2007 Construction Regulations 2013 Strong leadership and communication skills with the confidence to engage both internal teams and regulatory bodies.
