BCL Legal are working with a leading law firm that is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its Public, Regulatory & Investigations team in Dublin.

The work spans statutory interpretation, judicial review, information law (FOI and AIE), and advising on the complex framework of domestic and EU regulations.
You'll also gain hands-on experience with high-profile inquiries and investigations, statutory and non-statutory, and work closely with one of the market's most respected practitioners in this space.
The team is known for its collegiate approach, high-quality client base, and mix of cutting-edge public law advisory work and litigation.
What You'll Be Doing:
Advising regulators, statutory bodies, and regulated entities on their statutory functions, enforcement powers and procedural obligations.
Supporting and leading on judicial reviews, statutory appeals, and administrative challenges.
Drafting legal opinions, court pleadings, and guidance documentation for public bodies.
Advising on FOI, data protection and broader access-to-information obligations.
Assisting clients through regulatory investigations and public inquiries.
Collaborating with cross-functional legal teams, including data privacy and charity law specialists.
What You'll Bring:
4+ years' post-qualification experience in public, regulatory or administrative law, ideally from a top-tier firm or relevant in-house/regulatory background.
Demonstrated experience in statutory interpretation, judicial review or related litigation.
Strong legal research and drafting skills, coupled with sound commercial judgment.
Experience working with or advising regulatory or public bodies is a distinct advantage.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage a varied, high-quality workload.
