We are currently seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team at the Dublin branch, covering the Dublin and surrounding area.

As a Plant Maintenance Technician with Ambius, you will have a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
You will also be able to work independently and possess a genuine desire to service customers by taking the best possible care of the plants in their work environment.
Responsibilities
Visit customer sites on a regular basis as established by route plan
Safely drive a service vehicle in urban and rural settings
Service all required plants on the specified day – water, prune, and fertilise plants as needed; trim, and remove debris from planters; gauge soil moisture accurately with a soil probe
Exercise trained techniques to apply appropriate amounts of water per lighting conditions and plant requirements
Maintain and communicate appropriate light conditions and orientation
Ensure plants as well as display containers are clean and free of dust and debris
Keep all plants free from diseases and insects
Maintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements
Perform occasional work from ladders up to 6 ft to reach and service tall plants and living wall systems
Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and/or moisture

Qualifications
Full Irish driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
Able to undertake physical tasks such as installing planters and hanging baskets
Enjoy driving and be comfortable with working at heights
You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
Experience working with plants or an interest in plants
Ability to use own initiative
