Unum Technology Centre in Carlow serves as a strategic software development and IT services centre supporting Unum, a leading provider of income protection in the US. Our team of IT professionals build solutions and critical business applications to digitally transform the way we do business.
Our 2026 Summer IT Internship Taster Program for Women in Technology commences 2nd - 12th June 2026
How will this work?
* When: 6 days over two weeks onsite in the Unum Ireland Carlow office in June 2026 commencing 2nd June – 12th June 2026 after your exams.
* Pre-Interns, 2nd year students will be emersed in our teams in Carlow to learn more about the practical day to life of a career in technology.
* This will serve as a primer/taster in advance of the September 2026 application deadline for full internship.
* The September process will be fully open as normal so this will not guarantee you an internship, but it will provide you with great insight and coaching in advance regardless of where you go on your internship.
* You will have fun and will learn a lot.
* Keeping it to 6 days over two weeks to ensure we don't impact your summer plans.
* Interviews for the Taster will be held onsite at universities.
