Accounts Assistant
My client a well-established company based outside of the city is seeking an Account's Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Code and key accounts payable and process timely payments.
2. Raise sales invoices ensuring all sales are captured.
3. Prepare VAT returns and assist with year-end accounts.
4. Investigate all discrepancies with invoice totals and work within the company to balance all accounts.
5. Prepare monthly financial reports and related correspondence.
6. Accounts Receivable and managing credit collections.
7. Weekly bank reconciliation and analysis of accounts and variances.
8. Contribute to and/or complete special projects as assigned.
Skills:
9. 1-2 years' experience working as an Accounts Assistant.
10. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting /Diploma preferred.
11. Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not essential.
12. IT Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
