Seeking an experienced Toolmaker. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in reading technical drawings and operating manual and CNC machines.

Key responsibilities include:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical specifications to manufacture precision tools.
* Operate manual and CNC machines (e.g., lathes, milling machines, grinders, EDM) to produce tooling components.
* Assemble, test, and modify tools and dies to meet design requirements and tolerances.
* Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on existing tooling.
* Collaborate with design engineers and production staff to resolve tooling issues and improve tool performance.
* Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements:
* Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, vernier calipers).
* Skilled in machining processes including turning, milling, grinding, and fitting.
* Knowledge of CNC programming.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Toolmaking or Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a toolmaking environment.
* Experience in injection molding, press tooling, or die casting tools.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
