Senior Tax Accountant Job Description
A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Taxation Specialist to join its expanding Tax department.
* Manage a diverse client portfolio ranging from SMEs to large international groups, with direct exposure to partners and significant opportunities for progression.
* Work closely with partners and liaise with other departments, including Audit and Corporate Finance.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with a wide portfolio of clients.
The role involves preparing tax computations across all tax heads, including income tax, corporation tax, and capital taxes. Compute adjusted profit, prepare Capital Allowances Schedules, and file income tax returns using ROS.
Key responsibilities include handling Revenue audits/investigations and related client correspondence, providing tax planning support for transactions such as buy-outs, company valuations, and restructuring, and managing CT1 preparation and submission for limited companies via ROS.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 3 years' senior-level experience in taxation.
* Strong technical knowledge across all tax heads.
* Confident communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle complex tax matters.
* High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
