Job Title:
Homecare Worker - Co. Donegal, Letterkenny
**About the Role:**
We are recruiting for a Care Worker to join our team in Donegal Homecare Services. This is a permanent contract of employment working 18 hours per week. The successful candidate will work in assigned family homes across Letterkenny and surrounding areas, providing person centred care to people with dementia in their own home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide person centred care to individuals with dementia in their own homes.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care services.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
• Participate in regular supervisions and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• Previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activities with people with dementia, older people or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Full clean driving license and access to a car are essential.
• A FETAC level 5 is desirable, as is confidence in using IT/Email.
