Job Opportunity: Field Service Engineer
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to support our client sites in Ireland. The successful candidate will be involved in installing, calibrating, and servicing injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out installation, maintenance, and servicing of machinery and associated equipment.
* Specialize in electrical maintenance and system diagnostics for injection moulding machines.
* Perform machine fit-outs, including necessary electrical and mechanical modifications.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and electromechanical faults on-site in collaboration with customers and machine manufacturers.
* Conduct machine calibrations per customer maintenance schedules.
* Carry out equipment health checks and generate detailed condition reports.
* Coordinate with the scheduling team to efficiently manage workload and ensure necessary resources are available.
* Engage with customers both remotely and on-site to understand their specific needs and provide technical guidance.
* Assist in specifying and procuring electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
* Prepare and approve necessary documentation and reports upon job completion.
* Maintain strict adherence to all relevant electrical and industrial safety standards, as well as customer safety requirements.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
* At least 3 Years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, specializing in the maintenance and troubleshooting of plastics machinery.
* Strong ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical schematics.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in root cause analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Sound understanding of industrial safety protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all levels of the business and with customers.
