Electrical Systems Designer

About the Role
* Design and Development: Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and circuits for medical devices, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
* Technical Leadership: Lead or contribute to technical project planning, establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
* Collaboration and Communication: Develop detailed specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
* System Integration: Perform system-level integration of hardware, firmware, and software components, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and root cause investigations for electrical issues, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
* Experience in medical device or highly regulated industries is preferred.
* Solid understanding of EMC design and test principles per IEC 60601.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
