A well-established, international manufacturer within the HVAC and building services sector is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead its Irish sales operation.
This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role, responsible for managing a high‑performing sales team while remaining commercially active in the market. The successful candidate will take ownership of the Irish sales strategy, key accounts, and future growth opportunities, working closely with UK and European colleagues.
The Role
Lead and develop a team of external and internal sales professionals
Operate as a player‑manager, driving performance through leadership and personal contribution
Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with wider business goals
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
Identify and deliver growth opportunities across major projects and key accounts
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, business development, and international teams
Split time between office leadership and field‑based customer engagement
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in a senior sales or sales management role
Background in HVAC, building services, engineering products, or technical solutions
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results
Confident leader capable of managing autonomous, high‑performing teams
Comfortable operating in a niche or technically complex product environment
Based within commutable distance of Dublin / Bray, with flexibility to travel
