On behalf of a newly established Property Management firm in Dublin city centre, we are looking to hire a Senior Accountant.
Working alongside the Finance Director, the Senior Accountant will have indirect responsibility for 2 part -qualified Accounts Assistants, overseeing their work an ensuring their timeline and accurate completion of work, including AP/ AR, accounts preparation, etc. Additional responsibilities will include;
* Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports.
* Assist in the coordination of the annual audit with external auditors on all property related matters.
* Assist in the preparation of corporation tax returns and liaising with external tax advisers.
* Assist the Finance Director with preparation of annual property budgets.
* Building relationships with various stakeholders including Development Managers, Property Managers, Asset Managers, etc.
* Support adhoc projects as they arise.
Requirements
o Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
o ACA/ ACCA/CIMA qualification with c. 3 years' post qualified experience.
o Previous real estate/ property mgmt. industry experience preferred.
o Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with excellent excel skills.
o Proficient in the use of accounting software (Yardi experience highly advantageous).
o Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisation, good judgement, showing logical decision -making and have a hands -on approach.
